Personal Statement:You can expect my trainings to be: INTERACTIVE, EDUCATIONAL & FUN! I came to the position of QRS Specialist at SDA 9, with twenty years of experience in the early childhood field. Previous positions include: day care center director, preschool teacher, home care provider, infant/toddler teacher, and teacher of Early Childhood Special Education in the public schools. This diverse background helps me relate to the many types of providers attending trainings. Ensuring children get a healthy start is one of my life passions. Level 1 ECE Credential training offers a format for educating as well as encouraging and supporting providers. Through the hands-on activities, providers learn as much from each other as they learn from me. Participants return to their child care positions with renewed energy and often with new activities to share.
