This session will describe why plenty of active play is important to young children. Participants will review the components of a child care environment that promotes the development of active children. The role and activities of child care providers in helping children develop active lifestyles will be discussed. Participants will use their NAP SACC result to identify specific program improvements that can help children be more active.
