She has spent the last 20 years as a group child care provider and has recently become a 3 Star Program through the Quality Counts Quality Rating System. Vicky keeps busy by spending time with her 2 teenage daughters and her adopted son. Vicky enjoys training child care providers and would like to create training for Registry Approval. Family child care providers will explore key elements of curriculum that support children?s development through all domains during the early years, infancy through kindergarten age. Five domains of development will be explored: physical, cognitive, communication and language, social and emotional, and approaches to learning. Necessary elements to support high quality family child care programs will be explored, including establishing a safe and supportive family child care program, partnering with families, and establishing program policies and practices.
