“Building Bridges” has been developed to provide current information about the transition process out of Early Intervention services. Early intervention and early childhood special education professionals and parents of young children with special needs will learn about State and Federal requirements and responsibilities in this interactive presentation. The workshop is designed to support all participants in their involvement in a smooth and effective transition process as children approach their 3rd birthday. Highlighted topics include evaluation and eligibility, transition planning conferences, requirements, rights and responsibilities, and recommended strategies.
