The Environment Rating Scales are user-friendly assessment tools that measure the quality of the learning environment for infants through school-age children. This Training explores science in the early childhood program. Participants will learn the importance of including science in their daily programs and how to make everyday happenings into science experiences. Through hands on experiments, activities, group work and lecture participants will learn how to include science in their daily curriculum. Science in the Environmental Rating Scales will be examined. Setting up science centers will be discussed. By making this training fun provides science experiences to the children they teach.
